Haiti needed help

Everyone knows how much help Haiti needs but sometimes it's not just about food and shelter.  It's about hope and something that will lift their spirits, help them see the possibilities.  Through my brother I found out about a small school being run by a Haitian man who wants to bring hope to children who would otherwise never get an education.  Their school is in a little cul de sac in an area that has no running water, plumbing or electricity.  There was a dismal 50 x 8 foot wall in front of the school that is also the entryway to the little neighborhood and it called out to me across the ocean. So with some pre-planning and help from family and friends we led an 8 day mural project that involved over 50 kids from 10 to 20 years old.  It was nothing like working here at home but with God's help we all worked together to brighten this little corner of the world.

Lots of help from gawkers!
